I am working on a Personal Version of EZGUI 4.0. It should be ready this weekend.

Some feedback from EZGUI users may be helpful here.

This version will be for the Hobbyist programmer market as well as a way to introduce people to EZGUI, in hopes they will upgrade to EZGUI 4.0 Pro.

This version will have basically all of the features of EZGUI 4.0 Pro.

The differences will be as follows:

Runtime: (ezgui4pv.dll)
- limited to 10 active forms
- limited to 150 active controls
- limited to maximum of 9 layers
- limited to 12 active sprites

Designer:
- limited to 75 controls per form

Software license:
- limited to personal use only (or inhouse use only for a business) No commercial distribution allowed (to third parties).

I haven't decided on the selling price yet.

I am thinking about either $29 (US) or $49 (US).

They key to this product is to sell as many as possible, with the hopes that users will upgrade. It will also fill the needs of the hobbyist market.

Any comments ?

Any suggestions ?

Do you think I should limit any other features (ot set lower limits) ?

Chris

Give it away . . .
Sell it for $29 - 300 users.
Give it away - 3000 users.

Get ready for a tech support tsunami.

All times are EST (US)
