I am working on my first commercial DDT Visual Designer. I would like to offer the first version as a PreRelease (like I did with EZGUI 3.5) to a select group of programmers).

It isn't ready yet, but it shouldn't take me too long to get a working version ready.

It will be based on the EZGUI 4.0 Visual Designer and the form files will be compatible. The code style will be slightly different though.

It will generate hybrid code which has both EZGUI style events (limited subset of EZGUI 4.0 events) and true Dialog procedures (for standard DDT coding).

It will rely heavily on the PB 8.0 DDT command set and I will try to take advantage of every possible DDT feature I find useful.

I also want to support the DDT Graphic control (to replace the EZGUI Canvas control).

The Designer will use the same smart parser technique and the EZGUI 4.0 Designer. The code will support Layers too!

Hopefully I will be able to impliment the rebar and pager controls as well.

If you have any interest in this product and want to be on a list of those who would like to purchase a prerelease version (when available) please email me at:

chrisboss@naxs.net

I will post more info later!
