I am happy to announce that EZGUI 4.0 Pro has been added to the list of applications to be tested on CrossOver. http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=4440
CrossOver is based on Wine and is for emulating Windows on Linux.
You can register in their web site and then register as an advocate for EZGUI 4.0 Pro. I don't know the exact details, but I have heard they will give advocates a free copy of CrossOver (a $69 value). If so, this would be a good deal.
You can actually use your EZGUI applications for testing, since EZGUI is a runtime and if your applications run well on CrossOver, this means the runtimes are working on it. Thats what I want most is to see how well EZGUI applications run on CrossOver.
You can test the Visual Designer and PowerBasic combination on CrossOver, as well as your applications (which is the best test of the runtimes).
There is a forum on the CrossOver web site for each applications, where all can discuss any problems in running EZGUI on CrossOver.
