This is one that's bugged me for quite some time

There is an option in the toolbar settings for "Variable Width List Format Buttons".

To me, this should 'resize' each toolbar button to match its width based on the icon and text (in list format). However, I never use this option since the buttons are always truncated well before the end of the button's text. So a button with an icon and label of "Start Process" will show something line "Start Pr" then then next button is displayed.

Is this an EZGUI bug, a Windows "bug", or am I simply not understanding the use of variable width toolbar buttons?

The < character can be used in the button mask to indicate end of line (new row).

The V property resizes the parent form to match the rows of the toolbar.

There is no way to resize the buttons themselves. The button size must be fixed when creating the control.

Hummmm, ok.

I still haven't a clue what the V property is supposed to do, but I might suggest from a user's standpoint that the wording

"Variable Width List Format Buttons"

apparently means something different from the actual action. In my mind, variable width list format means that the button size varies when using the list format.

Perhaps this option needs a different term.
